CIMBA Italy

Goals

I worked on this project employed by Hatch. The goal of this project was to fully redesign and develop a new website as the old one was outdated both with content, visuals, and usability.

My Roles

For this project I led the design and development. We heard what information needed to be on the site and their priorities and made the design based on that information architecture. This was a little over a year long project.

We knew this site was going to be viewed in multiple countries which required some features for accessibility and GDPR compliance. It was also important to design user flows so people of different languages were directed to the correct content.

The blog functionality was not working correctly on the old website and was important to their marketing strategy, so it was important to update this and make it great. I also designed the CMS on the back-end so they could easily add blog posts and tag authors, add photos to carousels, tag with topics, etc.

A major change for this website redesign was the navigation structure. The chosen design is somewhat contextual based on the different programs CIMBA offers. I tested many different versions of this on both desktop and mobile.
